Established in Meyzieu (69) in 1994, the BARTEC Group has very specific expertise in rebar splices for builders, design offices, reinforcement link workers and installers. The Group favours a global approach based both on its range of couplers and the same process for the preparation of structures, ensuring all of the quality requirements linked to international standards and certifications are met.

Backed by a high level of technical expertise, its product and assembly solutions are used worldwide in particularly complex building and road structure projects (such as stadia in Qatar, the Millau Viaduct in France, the Algiers Great Mosque, skyscrapers in Peru, and a nuclear power plant in Bangladesh, amongst others). The Group continually drives its strong innovation-backed approach with projects including those focusing on resistance to fatigue, impact, earthquakes and explosions, while it has developed a new international brand (LINXION) drawing on patents and which has led to the development of the Gamme Pi product range.

In its continual quest for international growth and product innovation, the BARTEC Group’s shareholders Philippe Huet and Catherine Sambin were interested in launching a fundraising initiative. Advised by LAMY LEXEL lawyers, they successfully raised 2.5 million euros with InnovaFonds via its Partenaire Croissance Fund and backed by Bpifrance, to be channelled to companies in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
