31 July, 2020 – After several difficult years, Frank & Pignard Technology has succumbed to the health crisis. With turnover 50% down on 2019 and worrying prospects for 2021, the Vallée de l’Arve automotive equipment manufacturer went into administration on 2 June this year. The ruling by the Commercial Court of Grenoble is now known: the takeover bid by its president and shareholder, BONNASSAY M&P Technology, has been accepted.

In a much-anticipated judgment, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) clarified the concept of ‘negotiating’ power that entitles commercial agents to benefit from the status provided for in the Directive. We would like to discuss this ruling in more detail because it has a retroactive effect on other intermediary contracts.

A 13-million-euro fundraising initiative for LACTIPS, a producer of biodegradable bioplastics advised by LAMY LEXEL

June 2020 - Lactips, a manufacturer of biodegradable and hydrosoluble bioplastics, has accelerated its growth with the injection of 13 million euros backed by the Investment Fund in Industrial Development Companies (Bpifrance) and Diamond Edge Ventures (Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation). It is thus set to build its first production factory in the Gier Valley near to Saint-Étienne (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes).
